Meet the Sporting Galaxy U17 team, they will be campaigning in the Soshanguve Amateur League

Sporting Galaxy FC: Soshanguve, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa; Sporting Galaxy Football Club was founded through the merger of two Soshanguve teams, namely FC Sporting Galaxy and The Brazilians on the 28th of August 2012. The two teams where founded by Thizwihangwi Nemanashe and Nkateko Moyana. Then the two were joined by Jacob “Papiki” Nkoana, Masala Mugaga, Ali “general” Masipa, Clyde “Slyde” Tlou and Aubrey “The Great” Matambela. The reason for the merger was that we felt the time was right to form our own club, embracing the local community and representing our own ideals. Sporting FC has been founded on the basis of ‘by the players, for the players’ and our divisions start from U13, 17, 19, and Promotion(Seniors). The club has the simple goal of being a welcoming, community club where people can come to play or watch for the simple enjoyment of the game. Our vision is to produce future leaders in football and life as a whole through dedication, training and discipline. Our mission is to build a vibrant and successful community through football. All club members are working hard to achieve this goal and embrace our club motto, “Where the stars are born.”
